Jonathan Ashmore | Founding Principal

With over a decade of professional experience working for internationally acclaimed Architectural practices in Europe and the Middle-East, British chartered architect Jonathan Ashmore founded multiple Award Winning and Internationally RIBA Chartered Architecture, Interior Architecture and Design practice ANARCHITECT.

A post-graduate of the renowned Bartlett School of Architecture in London, Jonathan is an elected member of the RIBA Gulf Chapter and a British Council Cultural Excellence Fellowship Mentor. He is also an active design critic and regular architectural speaker across a variety of professional platforms and international academic institutions.

Jonathan’s passion for craftsmanship and materiality is consistently present in his work to realize highly refined buildings and spaces. His diverse portfolio of built work spans residential, leisure, hospitality, workplace and cultural projects of which several have received international design awards with work regularly published around the world in the global design press.

Jonathan’s practice ANARCHITECT has been a prominent winner at the international design awards and has been gaining global recognition through creative collaborations with Burberry, Dubai Design Week and Wallpaper*.

Militza Ashmore | Executive Director

Serbian Brit Militza Ashmore is specialised in Brand Strategy and Communications in the fields of Luxury and Design. A graduate of the renowned London School of Economics with an Honours Degree in Politics and International Relations, she holds the role of Executive Director at ANARCHITECT®, immersing the Studio within a culture of lifestyle and luxury.

Militza brings with her years of experience working at Tiffany & Co. in the fields of Marketing and PR where she was responsible for some of the most successful Tiffany & Co. launches and events in the UAE and for nurturing Client and Press relationships. With a passion for image, branding and maintenance of strong business ethics throughout the organisation, she offers an invaluable, objective ‘non-architect’ perspective to ANARCHITECT®. Following her exposure to unique business practices working in nine different countries and with best-in-class creatives; she assures the smooth management and execution of all internal processes through the implementation of the company's systems and strategies, enabling Studio's own unique design mission and philosophy to thrive.

Thomas Herd | Associate

A RIBA chartered architect and former graduate of the University of Dundee, Scotland with a Degree of Master in Architecture (Distinction) and Postgraduate Diploma (Distinction) at the University of Westminster, London. Thomas has a keen interest in the multi-sensory composition of space, the tactility of design and a passion for multi-disciplinary research. Trained in a number of small studios in Scotland and at the award-winning practice, TateHindle, in London, he has developed a passion for design which engages with the senses and encourages imagination and creativity. He has hands-on experience in construction having previously worked as a carpenter and assisted in the building of his own projects, earning a unique understanding and appreciation of the detail in architecture. At ANARCHITECT, Thomas deals with top level Clients and projects, assuring the superior project quality and seamless process through all RIBA stages of work.

Matthew Harding | Senior Architect

An ambitious RIBA Architect, Matthew carries with him over 10 years of construction experience both in UK and UAE, working in architectural practices including Squire and Partners, London and GAJ, Dubai on various scales of international projects. He has both led and been part of teams working on major residential, infrastructural and education-based projects; including Mayfair’s 20 Grosvenor Square - the world’s first Four Seasons standalone residence. This has allowed him to demonstrate and develop a wealth of construction experience, ample knowledge of computer programmes, as well as utilise his strong communication and management skills. At ANARCHITECT he is lending his expert BIM skills and is taking projects through all RIBA stages.

Danka Mesković | Senior Interior Architect

As a Senior Architect at ANARCHITECT, Danka is responsible for implementing all architectural project(s), including Design, Construction Documents, Permitting, Bidding, and Construction Administration. She has lead the development of technical specifications and drawings for projects. In addition, she is a natural in developing and maintaining relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Frederick Lazarte | Technical Architect

Frederick is a highly proficient Technical Architect with over 15 years of experience in the UAE alone, including practicing in Hopkins Architecture. With a strong academic background in architecture and design, Fred borrows his high-detail expertise in technical drawing, specifications and model making to integrate a high level of craftsmanship associated with our design approach; into interior architecture spaces and objects. He creates high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by architects and designers and make modifications to existing drawings with ease. At ANARCHITECT, he additionally liaises with architects, engineers and designers in order to understand their design requirements and provide technical advice to manufacturing and construction technicians.

Ulrich Montenegro | Technical Architect & Site Coordinator

Ulrich is a seasoned architect with 12+ years in both Interior consultancies and fit-out industry, currently holding a Technical Architect & Site Coordinator position at ANARCHITECT. A University of Mindanao graduate, he is a Registered and Licensed Architect with the Philippine Regulatory Commission and a Dubai Municipality Registered Maintenance and Facility Engineer. Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and more, Ulrich's expertise spans coaching, commercial architecture, and project management. Engaged in professional associations like the Philippine Institute of Architects and the Society of Engineers (UAE), he has successfully managed large-scale and complex projects, successfully leading design and construction teams throughout project stages, showcasing a talent for problem-solving and operational improvement in the architecture realm.

Kristine Marasigan | Practice Administrative Specialist

As an Administrative Specialist at ANARCHITECT, Kristine provides invaluable document controlling support for all technical enquiries, including the control of all internal & external transcripts, assuring a high level of professionalism at our RIBA Chartered Practice. She maintains administrative support to all Architects and Technical staff on our projects, assuring smooth internal company processes and a high level of information turnaround for our Clients. Professional experience in office management, account management, sales support, and client relations give Kristine the ability to leverage her skills in our highly demanding, specialized and detail-oriented environment.
